Bishops Green - Pressure LP

Although Vancouver based streetpunk / Oi! outfit Bishops Green were formed in the spring of 2011 it wasn’t until early 2013 that the band shook up the scene and took it by storm with their untitled 12” Maxi EP. Featuring six tracks, this 12” was some of the best work that was released last year which was confirmed by it’s sales. Over 1,000 copies were pressed, and altough still available through a mailorder here or there it can be considered as completly sold out! By high demand a second pressing with alternate artwork was released to fullfill the need of all punks and skins looking for a release of top quality!

It’s normal to think there would be some kind of ‘pressure’ on Bishops Green to follow up the succes of their 12” debut EP. Altough the album title of the bands first full-length album, “Pressure”, might suggest otherwise, Bishops Green seem to have picked up where the last chords of “The Crow” (the last track on the 12” EP) ended to deliver yet another fantastic release that will live up to the highest expectations any fan could have had!

It may seem simple for a band to release an EP with just a few songs of high quality, but when that same band writes a full album with songs that are just as good or better, they prove to be a force to be reckoned with, and Bishops Green are definitely a force to be reckoned with! "Pressure" offers up ten new Bishops Green tracks-a must-listen and a must-have for anyone who is into Oi! and streetpunk music.
